Four College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics students who presented their research projects at the university’s Undergraduate Research Day received Outstanding Poster awards.

Every October, some of UH’s brightest students showcase substantive research they have done at an event sponsored by the Honors College. More than 100 participated this year, including 25 NSM undergrads.

The best research presentation posters get an Outstanding award, and John Harger (biology), Jennifer Nguyen (chemistry), Lillian Schaffer (geoscience) and Kelly Mader (physics) were among the award recipients.
