Summer Movie Night - The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley

Thursday, July 28
6:15–9:45 pm

What happens when someone without a scientific background launches a science-based startup? Chaos.

Join a panel of experts for NSM’s Summer Movie Night as we delve into the twists and turns in the saga of Elizabeth Holmes and the corporation, Theranos.

Dr. Preethi Gunaratne, NSM’s Moores Professor of biology and biochemistry, will cover the science in the film. She will be joined by Dr. Meredith Duncan from the UH Law Center and Dr. Curtis Wesley from the C.T. Bauer College of Business and the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Center on Ethics and Leadership at the UH Hobby School of Public Affairs.
