George Leroy Hall and his wife Myra were recognized at the annual Tribute to Excellence dinner, which honors the college’s summa cum laude graduates, faculty award winners and donors. Hall, who earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UH in 1956, endowed a scholarship at NSM in 2004.

Robert G. “Bob” Hughes, a 1972 Ph.D. graduate in biochemistry and NSM development director Amber Winsor. Hughes attended a public lecture on evolution and education held at UH in March.

Michael Tansey and his wife Elsa with NSM development director Rhonda Thompson at the Tribute to Excellence dinner in April. Tansey, who graduated from UH in 1965 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, established the Tansey Family Scholarship for NSM.
