University of Houston President Renu Khator is encouraging Cougar alums, as well as UH faculty and staff, to show their pride by wearing red on Fridays.

“In the big scheme of things, it may seem mundane, but our expressing our pride plays a significant role in advancing us forward,” Khator said in an email to the UH community.

Alums, by wearing red to the office on Fridays, not only show their pride in the University of Houston but demonstrate how tens of thousands of Cougar alum are impacting their communities and workplaces everyday.
